Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central costs $80 for Essentials and $110 for Premium per user per month, with annual billing. Team Members costs $8 per user and Device costs $45 per device per month. MS Dynamics Guys records the US list prices and the limits behind each license.

Business Central license types

  • Essentials is the standard full-user license.
  • Premium adds manufacturing and service management.
  • Team Members covers limited tasks.
  • Device licenses cover an eligible shared device.

Essentials and Premium can share a tenant only in separate environments. Users must access only the environment covered by their license.

The November 2025 Business Central price change

Microsoft raised Business Central prices on November 1, 2025. The original announcement gave October 1, before Microsoft moved the date.

Existing customers pay the new price from their first renewal on or after November 1, 2025.

MS Dynamics Guys calculates $1,350 monthly for 10 Essentials users and 5 Premium users, compared with $1,200 before the change.

That mixed-edition example assumes separate environments and correctly licensed access. It is not a single-environment recommendation.

Storage and environments

The price table shows default tenant storage and the capacity each eligible license adds. Confirm capacity and environment rights separately from user quantities.

Copilot and agents in Business Central

Microsoft states that Business Central licenses include Microsoft Copilot. Business Central agents use Copilot Credits bought separately.

Credits cost $0.01 each on pay-as-you-go, or $200 monthly for 25,000 credits, billed annually.

Adding other Microsoft Dynamics 365 apps

With Business Central Premium as the qualifying base, Sales Enterprise, Customer Service Enterprise and Field Service can attach at $20 each.

Business Central Essentials can attach only to bases listed as eligible by Microsoft. The calculator does not infer eligibility from price alone.
